HIMSS Oregon Announces Annual Spring Conference on May 17. Discount Fees Available for Lund Report Subscribers

Portland, Ore. (April 8, 2016) – The Oregon Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) will present its annual spring conference, titled “The Balancing Act: Population Health and Security” on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The daylong conference is scheduled to take place at the Embassy Suites Portland – Downtown and will examine two important and interconnected trends: the demand for increased data sharing between systems and care teams in support of population health and the need to limit access to patient data in light of security and privacy issues.
