PORTLAND, Ore. (June 2, 2015) – The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the nation’s largest nonprofit addiction treatment provider, is sponsoring the free “Recovery 2.0: Beyond Addiction” online conference June 12-18.
The web-based event will present one-on-one, in-depth conversations between yoga teacher and addiction recovery expert Tommy Rosen and a wide variety of wellness and recovery specialists, including several Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation leaders, two of whom are based in Oregon.
“We are pleased to continue our important partnership with Tommy Rosen, one of the most energetic and thoughtful advocates for smashing stigma and embracing lifelong recovery and holistic health,” said Nick Motu, Vice President of the Hazelden Betty Ford Institute for Recovery Advocacy. “As America focuses on addressing the opioid epidemic, we are especially grateful to have some of our medical experts lend their expertise to the upcoming conference on the innovative Recovery 2.0 platform.”
