This new documentary takes an in-depth look at our dysfunctional health care system from a businessman's perspective. Film producer Richard Master, owner of multi-million dollar MCS Industries, found rapidly accelerating health care costs were suffocating his business, while leaving Americans vulnerable to illness-related economic catastrophe and saddling health care providers with a huge administrative burden.
Master's film, Fix It, interviews health policy experts, economists, physicians, nurses, patients, business and labor leaders, and activists to arrive at the solution: a single-payer health care system.
Film runs 1 hour. Q & A with a representative from Health Care for ALL Oregon follows.
