We're All in This Together to Help 440,000 Uninsured Oregonians

Statement by OCPP policy analyst Janet Bauer on today's Supreme Court ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act

June 28, 2012 -- The Supreme Court decision is a victory for all Oregonians. Oregon can continue to move forward with confidence with its plans to reach 440,000 uninsured Oregonians mainly through the Oregon Health Plan and a new health insurance exchange for individuals and small businesses.

The Affordable Care Act is a promise to Americans and Oregonians that we're all in this together. After today's ruling, we remain together.
