Janae Sorenson Named Director of Sales for Premera

February 9, 2012 -- Premera, a family of companies based in Mountlake Terrace, Washington providing comprehensive health, life, vision, dental, stop-loss and disability coverage, workforce wellness tools and other related products and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Janae Sorenson to director of sales, integrated benefits.

In her new role, Sorenson will manage sales for the family of companies’ ancillary product lines, with a focus on life, disability, dental, vision and voluntary products. She will also explore opportunities to further integrate the customer experience for all products and solutions offered by Premera, enabling the company to focus on a total health solution for employers and individual members.

Sorenson brings significant industry experience to her new role at Premera. Most recently she served as President of Regence Life and Health Insurance Company in Portland, Oregon, and prior to that she worked in management roles at Standard Insurance and Lincoln Financial.
