Help Shape Health Reform in Oregon

August 19, 2010 -- The Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Health Policy Board will host six community meetings around the state in early September to solicit public comment.

These meetings will provide opportunities for public input on Oregon's Comprehensive Plan for Health Reform and for the Health Insurance Exchange, a central marketplace for purchasing health insurance.

Each meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the following cities:

September 1, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.
Benton County Fairgrounds
Guerber Hall

Corvallis

September 7, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.
Baker County Public Library
2400 Resort Street
Baker City

September 9, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.
Florence Events Center
715 Quince Street
Florence

September 13, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.
University Place
Columbia Falls Room
310 SW Lincoln St
Portland

September 15, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.
Red Lion Inn
Crater Lake Room

Medford

September 16, 2010, 6 - 8 p.m.

The last time this group ostensibly sought citizen input on health care they SHUT DOWN doctors, nurses and other citizens who tried to express their support for a single payer system. The public employee unions that control the majority Democratic legislators will determine what Oregon's health care legislation will be next session.
