May 17, 2011 -- Ben Bertrand, MS, PT, DPT, has been hired by Tuality Healthcare as director of rehabilitation services. A former minor league baseball player with strong ties to Tuality Healthcare and Pacific University, Bertrand will oversee all aspects of rehabilitation services, including inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology services. He will also be in charge of the Tuality Sports Medicine Program, which serves student athletes at Hillsboro, Glencoe, Century, Liberty and Forest Grove high schools.
Eunice Rech, RN, Tuality’s chief clinical officer, said Tuality was fortunate to hire someone of Bertrand’s caliber. “He has a very thorough resume that is loaded with experience in both hospital and private clinical settings.”
